The introduction of the Apple iPhone 14 is just three weeks away, and it is anticipated that this will be the earliest launch since 2016. This is what Mark Gurman has to say about it.

Apple is getting ready to blow the minds of its devoted customers by unveiling the iPhone 14 series in the next few days. According to the information that has been leaked and rumored, Apple is planning to introduce the iPhone 14 series on September 7, 2022, which is only three weeks away. Mark Gurman of Bloomberg claims that this will be Apple’s earliest launch since 2016, so keep an eye out for it. Tweeting information regarding the same topic.

    iPhone 14 Models incoming…

According to what was reported the previous week, the firm is going to make the iPhone 14 announcement during a special event on September 7. It would be the earliest debut of an iPhone since 2016, and it would be followed by the new handset going on sale on September 16 — approximately one week earlier than the plan for the previous year. The event will take place on the Wednesday following Labor Day, which is an unusual day for Apple to announce new products. It is an indication that the corporation desired to keep that particular Tuesday open.

Why? Gurman suggested in a report that this would be the case “perhaps because press and other guests will need a travel day after the Monday holiday.”

He went on to say that the strategy strongly suggests that the firm will stage an in-person event on its Apple Park headquarters for the unveiling of the iPhone, similar to what it did for WWDC in June 2022. He said that this would be similar to what the company did for the event. However, the presentation itself will still be made available online; this is something that Apple has done with all of its events during the pandemic. In addition, the business may still show the footage live to an audience on its campus.

He went on to inform on the dates on which earlier iPhone models were launched and added that prior to the launch of iPhone 14, the launch of iPhone 7 was just this early. He also provided further information about the dates on which older iPhone models were launched. According to the source, “Since 2011, when Apple started revealing iPhones in the fall, there has only been one announcement that happened this early: the iPhone 7 in 2016” (before 2011, Apple unveiled new iPhones in June or July).

Here is everything you need to know about the Previous Apple iPhone Launches Date:

    1. iPhone 4S was announced on October 4, 2011 and was released on October 14.
    2. iPhone 5 was announced on September 12, 2012 and was released on September 21.
    3. iPhone 5S was announced on September 10, 2013 and was released on September 20.
    4. iPhone 6 was announced on September 9, 2014 and was released on September 19.
    5. iPhone 6S was announced on September 9, 2015 and was released on September 25.
    6. iPhone 7 was announced on September 7, 2016 and was released on September 16.
    7. iPhone 8 was announced on September 12, 2017 and was released on September 22.
    8. iPhone X was announced on September 12, 2017 and was released on November 3.
    9. iPhone XS was announced on September 12, 2018 and was released on September 21.
    10. iPhone 11 was announced on September 10, 2019 and was released on September 20.
    11. iPhone 12 was announced on October 13, 2020 and was released on October 23.
    12. iPhone 13 was announced on September 14, 2021 and was released on September 24.

Gurman was quoted as saying, “For me, this symbolizes a couple different things. To begin, Apple’s fiscal fourth quarter, which begins in July and continues through September, will include an extra week of sales for the iPhone 14. Apple had been put in the position of having to compete with: It will be difficult to match such growth since its revenues increased by 29% from the fourth quarter of 2020 to the fourth quarter of 2021.

Another week of strong sales of the iPhone 14 should make it easy for the corporation to surpass the $83 billion revenue mark it set in 2017 (in fact, analysts are already expecting revenue of approximately $89 billion). Second, the plan gives the impression that Apple’s supply chain is still functioning effectively, at least in regard to the iPhone, in spite of the ongoing chip shortages and the increasing expenses.

The same cannot be said for Apple’s Mac computers and the iPad, both of which struggled throughout the previous quarter due to limited supplies. Third, Apple wants to clear out additional room in preparation for a second event that will take place in October.

In the years leading up to the pandemic, Apple’s annual product launches traditionally began in September with the introduction of the newest iPhone and Apple Watch, and continued in October with the introduction of the newest iPads and Macs. This year appears to be a return to that formula, with Apple most likely aiming for the introduction of new Macs and iPads approximately one month following the release of the new iPhones.

More Insight About the Upcoming iPhone 14 Pro Models 2022

Apple traditionally releases new iPhone models during the fall of each year, and 2022 will be no exception. We anticipate the release of four new iPhones with screen sizes of 6.1 and 6.7 inches. Two of these iPhones will be ordinary models that are more affordably priced and will be dubbed the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Max. The other two will be higher-end “Pro” models that will be branded the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

You may also check out our collection of rumors pertaining to the iPhone 14 for a comprehensive analysis of all four iPhone models, including the more cost-effective options. In this roundup, we cover all you need to know about what to anticipate from the higher-end iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max.

We anticipate that Apple will release a 6.1-inch “iPhone 14 Pro” and a 6.7-inch “iPhone 14 Pro Max” in 2022, much like they did with the iPhone 13 Pro series. Because Apple is rumored to be bringing new features to the Face ID camera, it is possible that the company will modify the look of the iPhone 14 Pro models in a way that significantly differentiates them from the normal iPhone 14 models.

It has been suggested that the display on the iPhone 14 Pro variants will feature two cutouts rather than a notch. The Face ID dot projector and other Face ID components will be housed in a cutout in the shape of a pill, while a second hole in the form of a circle will accommodate the front-facing camera. It is anticipated that the notches on the non-Pro variants will continue to be the regular notches.

Titanium could be utilized for the chassis of the iPhone 14 Pro models, which would be an improvement above stainless steel, which was used for the chassis of the iPhone 13 Pro. Titanium would also differentiate the iPhone 14 Pro from the iPhone 14 models, which are believed to continue using an aluminum chassis as its primary material for the device’s chassis.

The cameras on the iPhone 14 Pro versions are about to get some much-needed updates. It is anticipated that Apple will release a camera with a resolution of 48 megapixels and the ability to record video in 8K. There is also the possibility that the telephoto lens will receive some upgrades, and an improved ultra-wide angle camera may be introduced. The 48-megapixel Wide camera, the enhancements to the telephoto lens, and the LiDAR Scanner will continue to be exclusive to the Pro model. Regarding the camera that is located on the front of the device, each model may receive an updated lens with the capability of autofocus as well as a wider aperture.

In addition to the iPhone 14 models not receiving improvements to the camera or changes to the notch, rumors suggest that the iPhone 14 Pro models could get an updated version of the A16 chip, whereas the iPhone 14 models that are not Pro models will continue to use the A15 chip that is used in the current iPhone 13 lineup. In the event that it takes place, it will be the first time that Apple has included a more powerful processor in one of its Pro iPhone models. In previous generations of the iPhone, the standard model and the Pro model both used the same chip.

It is anticipated that Apple will implement Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X65 5G chip, which is the first 5-gigabit modem with faster connectivity speeds and connectivity improvements. This modem was developed by Qualcomm. Apple is likely to release new satellite-based emergency features in conjunction with the launch of the X65. These features will enable users to send texts in the event of an emergency and report accidents even when there is no cellular connection.

Design of the iPhone 14 Pro Models

Apple is removing the notch from certain models of the iPhone 14, and speculations claim that the Pro models will be the ones to get the notchless design.

Apple is choosing to go with a smaller set of cuts on the display rather than a notch for its upcoming iPhone redesign. The front-facing camera was supposed to be accommodated by a single circular hole-punch cutout that Apple would introduce, but later evidence indicates that there won’t be a single cutout — Apple is likely introducing two.

    iPhone 14 Pro Models

Display analyst Ross Young anticipates seeing both a circular cutout as well as a cutout in the shape of a pill. It is expected that the front-facing camera will be housed in the circular hole, while the pill-shaped cutout will contain the hardware required for Face ID as well as maybe additional components. The round cutout will have a measurement of 5.631 millimeters, according to photographs that were leaked on the Chinese social networking site Weibo.

It is possible that Apple intends to put some of the Face ID hardware underneath the display of the iPhone. This would reduce the sizes of the cutouts that are required and would leave more screen real estate on the front of the device; however, it is not yet known whether or not this will be a feature that is implemented.

    Part Leaks

MacRumors was able to get their hands on some iPhone 14 dummy models that were originally intended for case manufacturers. These models offer a glimpse of what we can anticipate for the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro versions.

These phony iPhone 14 gadgets provide us a good idea of what we may anticipate to see because there is a lot of money in having a case ready for a new iPhone before it is launched. As a result, dummy models are often quite realistic. However, the iPhone 14 Pro Max will have a size that is comparable to that of the iPhone 13 Pro Max. However, due to the increased height of the camera bump, a case designed for the iPhone 13 Pro Max will not be compatible with the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

    iphone 14

One significant difference between the iPhone 14 models and the iPhone 13 models is that there will not be an iPhone 14 mini. Other than that, the design of the iPhone 14 models will be very similar to that of the iPhone 13 models. Instead, Apple is producing two iPhones with a display size of 6.1 inches (the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Pro) in addition to two iPhones with a display size of 6.7 inches (iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max).

    iPhone 14 part leak

The notch on the Pro versions will be replaced with a hole and pill-shaped cuts for the camera and the Face ID technology. This will make the Pro models look less bulky. The design of the hole and pill is not that dissimilar to that of a notch; nonetheless, it will release some additional space and make the front-facing cameras less noticeable. The notch design element will be retained for the standard iPhone 14 models.

    iphone 14 dummy 5

Although we are aware that there are some subtle differences in the dimensions of the devices, it is difficult to discern these differences when comparing a fake unit to the iPhone 13 range in person. The screen sizes of the various models of the iPhone 14 Pro vary slightly, but the differences are so minute that you won’t even notice them in normal use.

    iphone 14 dummy 4

In order for Apple to fit the 48-megapixel camera that it is integrating into the Pro models, the camera bumps on those models will be slightly larger and more prominent. The design of the standard iPhone 14 models will not be altered significantly. The camera hump on the iPhone 14 Pro Max is significantly larger than the camera bulge on the iPhone 13 Pro Max, as demonstrated by a side-by-side comparison shot of the two devices. The housing for the rear camera is substantially taller than the front camera.

The schematics that were discovered back in February provide additional information on specific dimensions as well as the cutouts that will replace the notch, and additional images that were discovered in March suggest that the Pro models will have a design that is thicker and will feature a more prominent camera bump.

    iphone 14 pro display schematics

According to the blueprints, the width of the iPhone 14 Pro Max will be 77.58 millimeters, which is quite close to the width of the iPhone 13 Pro Max, which was 78.1 millimeters. It will have a height of 160.7 millimeters, which is the same as the 13 Pro Max, and it is anticipated to have a thickness of 7.85 millimeters, which is a little bit greater than the 7.65 millimeters that the 13 Pro Max has.

The thickness of the camera hump will increase to 4.17 millimeters, from 3.60 millimeters on the iPhone 13 Pro Max. The width of the camera bump is projected to increase to 36.73 millimeters from its current width of 35.01 millimeters, and the height of the camera bump is expected to increase from 36.24 millimeters to 38.21 millimeters. Apple is going to add a camera to the gadget that has a resolution of 48 megapixels, thus the camera bulge on the iPhone will be greater.

It is anticipated that the width of the iPhone 14 Pro will be 71.45 millimeters and the height will be 147.46 millimeters, the same dimensions as the iPhone 13 Pro. It is anticipated to have a thickness of 7.85 millimeters and a more pronounced camera hump.

    Renders

Based on all of the rumors that have been circulating about this apple device. YouTuber Jon Prosser shared several renders of the iPhone 14 Pro models.

iPhone 14 Pro Purple Front and Back MacRumors Exclusive feature

The renderings reveal a design with a dual-hole camera cutout at the front and a considerably larger camera configuration at the back to accommodate the 48-megapixel Wide camera lens. This design is consistent with the part leaks, dummy models, and schematics that have been uncovered.

iPhone 14 Pro Silver True Depth

The display on the iPhone 14 Pro is somewhat larger, which results in the device having a marginally increased height. Additionally, the corners of the handset have a more rounded appearance, most likely as a result of the larger camera array.

iPhone 14 Pro Purple Rear Flat MacRumors Exclusive

The renders, other than that, reveal a design that is comparable to the models of the iPhone 13 Pro. It has the same flat edges as those models, and there are very few other design changes. There is a new purple hue seen in the pictures, which has been speculated to be available for the iPhone 14 Pro variants.

iPhone 14 Pro Graphite Face Up

    Chassis

According to Apple concept visual renderer Ian Zelbo, the iPhone 14 Pro may have considerably rounded corners to match the new larger rear camera array. These rounded corners would complement the larger array of cameras on the back of the device. Zelbo arrived at this result by doing a cross-reference analysis of CAD renders and dimensions, as well as schematics and pictures of accessory manufacturing models.

iphone 13 pro and 14 pro render rear

In all of these alleged leaks of the iPhone 14 Pro, the device has been seen to have wider corner radii, giving it a more rounded appearance on both the front and the back than the iPhone 13 Pro did. This new design, which is more rounded, would only be available on the iPhone 14 Pro, as the radii of the iPhone 14 Pro Max appear to be the same as those of the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Because of the modifications to the camera, the 14 Pro needs to have more rounded corners than its predecessor.

    Incoming iPhone 14 Pro 2022

According to display analyst Ross Young, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will both have displays that are somewhat larger if the dimensions are calculated based on a typical rectangular shape. The screen on the iPhone 14 Pro will be 6.12 inches, which is somewhat larger than the screen on the iPhone 13 Pro, which was 6.06 inches, and the screen on the iPhone 14 Pro Max will be 6.69 inches, which is slightly larger than the display on the iPhone 13 Pro Max, which was 6.68 inches.

Size Options for iPhone 14 Models

As a result of disappointing sales, Apple has decided to discontinue the “small” range of products, which means that the 5.4-inch iPhone will be discontinued in 2022. The iPhone 13 small will be the last of the mini phones, and going forward, it is anticipated that Apple would place a greater emphasis on producing larger-sized iPhones with screen sizes ranging from 6.1 to 6.7 inches for its flagship products.

We anticipate the release of a 6.1-inch iPhone 14, a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, and a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max. The larger 6.7-inch iPhone will likely take the place of the smaller 3.5-inch iPhone mini model.

Colors Variations – iPhone 14 Models

According to a report that has not been confirmed, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro could come in the color purple. The rumor suggests, while it has not been confirmed, that both the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models would be available in a purple color with a distinctive finish that changes tone depending on the lighting circumstances. This color will reportedly be available in both regular and pro versions.

iPhone 14 Pro Lineup Feature Purple

In the past, Apple has given its normal iPhone and its iPhone Pro models the same color, but it has often been in a different shade. If the rumor about the purple iPhone being released in 2022 is true, we might see the same thing. It is speculated that black, white, blue, red, and purple will be among the color options for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max, while graphite, gold, silver, and purple are expected to be among the options for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

    Titanium

According to a report that was distributed to investors by JP Morgan Chase, Apple’s forthcoming iPhone 14 Pro models may arrive with a high-end chassis design that is made of titanium alloy. Titanium had previously been utilized by Apple for the production of the Apple Watch; nevertheless, the use of titanium for an iPhone would be a first for the company.

Titanium is not only more resistant to scratches and corrosion than steel and aluminum, but it is also stronger than both of those metals. Unfortunately, we haven’t heard anything more regarding a titanium option, so it seems unlikely that it will be available.

    Cooling

The vapor chamber thermal technology, which Apple is rumored to be “aggressively testing,” may become standard on high-end iPhone models beginning in 2022. This change is expected to take place. Because of the more powerful CPU capabilities and quicker 5G connection speeds of the high-end iPhones, the VC thermal system will be necessary for such devices. There are currently smartphones on the market from companies like as Samsung, Razer, and LG that use vapor chamber cooling technology. This technology is used to maintain a device’s cool temperature even while it is under a great deal of strain.

Although it is unknown whether the vapor chamber thermal system will be able to satisfy Apple’s rigorous standards, the company is attempting to enhance it, and it is possible that high-end models will start using it in the near future.

iPhone 14 Pro Renders and Molds

The notch on the front of the iPhone will be replaced by pill-shaped and circular cuts, according to purported CAD renders that portray the iPhone 14 Pro. The rendered images reveal a small cutout in the form of a circular hole to the right of a pill-shaped notch that is located on the left side of the display. The top bezel of the smartphone will continue to house the speaker grille in its current configuration.

According to CAD images that appeared in April, the bezels surrounding the iPhone 14 Pro Max might be approximately 20 percent less than the bezels that surrounded the iPhone 13 Pro Max. This information was gleaned via comparing the two devices. Bezels on the iPhone 14 Pro Max are rumored to have a thickness of 1.95 millimeters, which is a reduction from the iPhone 13 Pro Max’s bezel thickness of 2.42 millimeters.

In the month of April, a snapshot that purportedly portrays molds of Apple’s next iPhone 14 variants was discovered, providing us with a more precise look at the dimensions of the upcoming handsets. The molds were most likely designed to be used in the creation of cases, but they do look to be consistent with the reports that we have heard so far regarding the iPhone 14.

    iphone 14 molds

Apple currently sells two iPhones with a display size of 6.1 inches, as well as two iPhones with a display size of 6.7 inches. According to the rumors, the camera bumps have around a five percent larger footprint.

A replica of the iPhone 14 Pro Max was developed by third-party case manufacturers who have access to detailed schematics and dimensions for the iPhone 14 Pro. This replica was provided to us by the YouTube channel Unbox Therapy, who provided us with a closer look at what the iPhone 14 Pro Max is anticipated to look like. The design is consistent with the rumors that we have heard up to this far, with an appearance comparable to that of the iPhone 13 Pro Max but omitting the notch in favor of pill and hole cutouts.

    Camera Improvements

The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models will see significant camera improvements, with updates coming to the Wide, Telephoto, and Ultra Wide lenses.

iPhone 14 Pro Lineup Feature Purple

    Wide Camera

Apple is expected to introduce a Sony-crafted 48-megapixel Wide camera with Focus pixels and pixel binning for use in the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, which will replace the current 12-megapixel Wide camera used in the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max. This camera will replace the current camera that is used in the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max.

The pixels in the Wide camera will reportedly measure in at 1.22 micrometers, which is a reduction of 0.68 micrometers in comparison to models from previous generations. This will allow the camera to support a greater resolution. It will be able to record 16:9 video at up to 60 frames per second and will include the same Dual Pixel Auto Focus mechanism that Apple refers to as “Focus Pixels.”

It has been rumored that Apple will use a larger 1/1.3-inch sensor in the iPhone 13 Pro versions. This would offer a 21.2 percent improvement over the 1/1.65-inch sensor that is now used. We anticipate a larger camera array to accommodate the higher lens size since the total sensor area will rise by 57 percent, which is why we are expecting a larger camera array. The combination of the larger sensor and the smaller pixels could result in concerns with the performance of the camera in low light. Apple plans to address these issues by employing a technique known as pixel binning.

The iPhone 14 Pro variants will offer options for photo output ranging from 48 megapixels to 12 megapixels, with the lower resolution option taking advantage of pixel binning. Pixel binning is the process of combining the data from several of the camera’s image sensor’s smaller pixels into a single larger pixel in order to improve the camera’s sensitivity and performance in low light.

When there is sufficient light, the new camera will be able to take photographs with a high resolution; but, when there is insufficient light, it will take photographs with a resolution of only 12 megapixels to improve image quality.

    Telephoto and Ultra Wide Lenses

Apple is planning to improve the present telephoto camera by increasing it from a 6-element lens to a 7-element lens, which would result in improved telephoto photographs. Additionally, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo anticipates that the ultra wide camera will see improvements.

    Video Recording

Instead of 4K video recording, it is anticipated that the iPhone 14 Pro versions would support 8K video recording. Images of a very high resolution, such as 8K, may work best when seen on Apple’s future AR/VR headset.

    Front Camera

It is anticipated that all of the iPhone 14 versions that will be released this year will come equipped with an improved front camera that has an aperture of f/1.9 or wider and focusing capabilities. With a wider aperture, more light would be able to pass through the lens and reach the sensor, resulting in photographs that are clearer, more detailed, and with more depth of focus. The enhancements to the autofocus would make it easier to make focus adjustments while on video conversations.

    A16

It is customary for new versions of the iPhone to include an upgraded A-series chip, however Apple may stray from their regular operating procedure this year and not include such a chip. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that the new A16 chip, which is expected to be speedier, will only be included in the iPhone 14 Pro variants.

Other sources have also backed up the rumor that the older chip will stick around in the standard iPhone 14 models. Kuo has stated that the standard iPhone 14 models will continue to use the same A15 Bionic that is in the iPhone 13 models, which will mark a significant differentiation between the Pro and non-Pro iPhones in 2022.

Kuo speculates that there will not be a significant change between the A15 chip and the A16 chip. It is anticipated that the chip will be manufactured using the N5P method, which was previously utilized for the A15 chip. This will prevent any advancements from being made.

It won’t be until 2023 before the next-generation N3 and N4P fabrication techniques are ready for industrial production. Apple chip supplier TSMC has developed a new N4 process, but Kuo claims that it does not have any substantial improvements over the N5P process, hence Apple will continue to use the N5P technology for the A16. The modification to the A16 is one that has been done more for marketing purposes than to signify a significant improvement.

    RAM

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models will reportedly come equipped with 6 gigabytes of random access memory (RAM), which is the same amount of RAM that is available in the iPhone 13 Pro models. This information comes from Ming-Chi Kuo and other sources. The findings of the Taiwanese research company TrendForce are in agreement with these findings.

The Chinese supply chain has been the source of rumors that the iPhone 14 Pro versions will offer an equivalent amount of random access memory (8GB) to that of the Samsung Galaxy S22. However, it is not typical for Apple to randomly incorporate features to match those of competitor smartphones.

    Detection of Vehicle Crashes

Apple is hard at work developing a crash detection capability that will be available for the iPhone and the Apple Watch in 2022 at the earliest. When a car accident takes place, it will monitor the acceleration of the vehicle to look for a change in the gravitational force and use sensors like accelerometers to do so.

If a collision with a vehicle is detected, either the iPhone or the Apple Watch will immediately contact emergency services to request assistance. Due to the fact that it is scheduled for 2022, this functionality may be developed for the iPhone 14 models and the Apple Watch Series 8; however, it is highly unlikely that it will be restricted to only those devices. It will be an expansion of the Fall Detection feature that is already included in the current models of the Apple Watch and iPhone.

    Snapdragon X65 Modem

The iPhone 14 models will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon X65 modem, which is the world’s first 10 Gigabit 5G modem and antenna system for smartphones ever produced.

    The RF Chip

According to Taiwan’s Economic Daily News, Apple is rumored to have placed an order with TSMC for 5G radio frequency (RF) chips, with the expectation that Apple will use its own technology rather than chips manufactured by Samsung.

According to reports, the chips are produced using TSMC’s 6-nanometer process, which allows for a more compact container while also reducing the amount of power required. Together, support for WiFi 6E and longer battery life when using 5G technology could be the result of this.

    The Connectivity of Satellites

Alongside the modem, Apple plans to implement satellite-based emergency features that will allow users to send texts in emergency situations and report major emergencies in areas where there is no cellular coverage. These features will be enabled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X65, which enables certain satellite connectivity features.

When there is no cell phone signal or WiFi connection available, users will be able to text emergency services and contacts utilizing a satellite network using a service called Emergency Message by Satellite. It will be a new communications protocol that may be used in conjunction with SMS and iMessage, and the message bubbles will be gray. There will be a character limit on messages.

Users will also be able to use satellite networks to notify big events such as plane crashes and fires when the system has this feature. These functionalities are not yet available and are not expected to be available until 2022 at the earliest.

    WiFi 6E

Ming-Chi Kuo, an Apple analyst, believes that the iPhone 14 Pro versions would be equipped with WiFi 6E connection. According to Kuo, WiFi 6E will be able to provide the high-speed wireless transmissions that are required for AR and VR experiences. Additionally, it is anticipated that it will be utilized in the mixed reality headset that might be released as early as 2022.

WiFi 6E makes use of the 6GHz spectrum in addition to the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands in order to enhance bandwidth and reduce interference. In addition, it offers the performance gain and reduced latency that the WiFi 6 standard makes available.

    2TB Storage

Apple introduced a new storage tier for its iPhone 13 Pro models with a capacity of 1 terabyte (TB), and reports say that the company may boost this capacity even higher to 2 TB with the iPhone 14 upgrade. This rumor originates from a source that does not always provide correct information; hence, it need to be considered with some caution until it is supported by another source that is more reputable.

According to the speculations of TrendForce, the base storage capacity of the iPhone 14 Pro versions might begin at 256 gigabytes. This could provide an explanation for the widespread speculation that the iPhone 14 Pro models will be priced higher than the iPhone 13 Pro versions.

There is no actual SIM card slot.

There is a possibility that Apple will debut the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro models without a physical SIM slot, shifting instead to an eSIM-only design. It has been rumored that Apple is encouraging major carriers in the United States to get ready for the arrival of eSIM-only smartphones by the year 2022. If this is true, then it is possible that some iPhone 14 models will be the first to come without a SIM card.

With the release of the iPhone 13, Apple decided to provide some versions without a nano-SIM in the box. Instead, cellular plans can be activated using an eSIM, which eliminates the need for a physical SIM card. The use of a nano-SIM is not required in order to add cellular plans to a device if it is equipped with an eSIM.

Because eSIM technology is not yet accessible everywhere, iPhones that are going to be offered in certain regions will need to continue to come with a nano-SIM slot. Even in regions where an iPhone with no SIM card slot is a commercially accessible option, Apple may nevertheless give customers the option of purchasing a model that requires a SIM card. There are around 60 nations that currently have support for eSIM, and Apple’s website provides a list of these countries.

Pricing for the iPhone 14 Pro

According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will raise the cost of the iPhone 14 Pro variants in comparison to the iPhone 13 Pro models. Although he refrained from disclosing specific pricing information, Kuo predicted that the average selling price of the iPhone 14 family of products as a whole will climb by approximately 15 percent.

If the price of the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max goes up by approximately 10 percent, the starting price of the iPhone 14 Pro may be $1,099 and the starting price of the iPhone 14 Pro Max might be $1,199; however, the actual prices have not been determined. There have been previous speculations that stated Apple would not raise the prices of the regular iPhone 14 models.

    iPhone 14 Pro Launch Date

On September 7, Apple is having an event called “Far Out,” at which it is widely anticipated that the company would announce the new iPhone 14 variants.
